We built the e-Ultra starting from the award-winning carbon frame of the non-electric Ultra, capable of running 650b tires up to 61mm wide.
Its aerodynamic package is designed to maintain high speeds on both pavement and dirt. Prefer less extreme terrain or pure road? The e-Ultra also fits 700c tires up to 45mm WAM (Width-As-Measured).

So when it came time to create an electric version, we didn’t change a thing.
All electronics, cables, and batteries are housed inside the downtube—no bulky profiles or unsightly external modifications. The Mahle X20 rear hub motor is the secret behind its perfect weight balance and unmatched ride feel, adding less than 4kg compared to the non-electric model.

POWER, EFFICIENCY & LIGHTNESS
The e-Ultra is equipped with the Mahle X20 motor customized for 3T, delivering 65Nm torque, paired with a 350Wh battery for long-lasting, progressive power—all with minimal weight gain.
The Mahle system offers Bluetooth & ANT+ connectivity, Garmin compatibility, three preset power modes, and a fully customizable fourth mode via the MySmartBike app.
With smart power management, you can easily achieve 130+ km range and 2000 m elevation gain*.
Need more autonomy? Add the optional 173Wh range extender (1.1 kg) mounted in the bottle cage for +40 km and +600 m elevation gain.
*Average for a rider under 75 kg on fast gravel/asphalt routes, EU speed limit of 25 km/h.
REALFAST AERODYNAMICS
The Ultra was one of our toughest aerodynamic challenges: start with massive 55–61mm 650b tires and make the bike fast.
We can’t change the tires—they’re big, and knobs don’t help. But we can manage airflow. That’s why the 60mm-wide downtube hides behind the front wheel and grows wider toward the bottom bracket.
Combined with an offset aero head tube and other design tricks, you get a bike that feels way faster than your brain expects.
Because let’s be honest: when you see those tires, you expect sluggish MTB performance. But thanks to optimized geometry, aero shaping, BB stiffness, and a narrow Q-factor, the Ultra rides like a road bike when you want speed—even when it’s muddy.
