Utilising the latest technologies from Shimano’s Dura Ace R9100 and Ultegra R8000 road components, the Shimano 105 R7000 groupset offers added versatility and improved riding performance to a wide range of riders. The ergonomically refined shift levers match the sleek design of their Ultegra predecessors, while a mid-length rear derailleur and 11-34 CS-HG700 cassette increase the gear range. The highlight of the new 105 is the addition of hydraulic disc brakes to the standard range, which offer the usual good qualities of disc-specific Shimano components. The flat-mount calipers are compatible with Ice Technologies brake pads and rotors with a diameter of 140 mm or more to create the most powerful Shimano 105 groupset ever.
The Shimano CS-R7000 cassette offers a wide range of performance-oriented gear combinations. These have small gear steps to optimize cadence and therefore riding rhythm.
