The Wheeltop EDS TT TT7110 is a wireless electronic groupset for 2x time-trial and triathlon drivetrains. It combines programmable controls at both the aero extensions and brake levers with carbon-fibre brake levers, electronic front and rear derailleurs and BR-RA7800 hydraulic disc brake callipers.
Four buttons across the two bar-end switches and one button on each brake lever provide six programmable controls in total. Button functions, cassette configuration and individual gear positions can be adjusted through the Wheeltop app.
Six programmable controls
The two aero-extension switches provide four buttons, while the brake levers add another two. This allows the rider to operate the drivetrain from both the aero position and the base bar without moving between the two.
The carbon-fibre and aluminium brake levers are interchangeable between the left and right sides and offer an adjustable reach of 70 to 100 mm.
Wireless electronic shifting
The switches and brake-lever buttons communicate wirelessly with the front and rear derailleurs, eliminating mechanical gear cables and electronic shift wiring. Bluetooth is used for setup and adjustment through the Wheeltop app, while ANT+ connectivity supports compatible cycling computers.
Configurable cassette compatibility
The rear derailleur can be configured for 3- to 14-speed cassettes. Initial calibration and individual gear positions are adjusted through the Wheeltop app to match the spacing of the selected cassette.
The rear derailleur supports cassettes with a 10T or 11T smallest sprocket and a maximum sprocket between 30T and 36T. The front derailleur is designed for 2x chainring combinations, supporting an outer chainring up to 53T and a maximum 16T difference between chainrings.
Integrated rechargeable batteries
The rear derailleur contains an 800 mAh rechargeable battery, while the front derailleur uses a 500 mAh battery. Wheeltop states approximately 20,000 rear shifts per charge, with the derailleur batteries recharged using the included USB-C cables.
BR-RA7800 hydraulic brakes
The included BR-RA7800 flat-mount callipers use a CNC-machined unibody construction, twin 21 mm ceramic pistons and mineral-oil hydraulic lines. They are compatible with 140 mm and 160 mm brake rotors.
